An insider from the film unit tells us that film director Harry Baweja, who is also the father of Harman, wants to minimize his son's public exposure before the release of the film, just as Saawariya director Sanjay Leela Bhansali did with Sonam and Ranbir. The idea is to create as much of a buzz around Harman as for the VFX heavy Sci Fi film

Priyanka wore a sleeveless sheath dress in silver metallic flower print. The dress had a banded empire waist, a revealing V neckline in the front and a deep V neck at the back, ending with an oversized bow detail.
She matched the dress with black peep-toe d'Orsay pumps with slender heels and carried a box clutch

Her razor cut shoulder length dark brown hair, left open, framed her face well. She had styled them for volume and height with the tresses falling straight down on the shoulders.
Priyanka probably wanted to appear as if she had just stepped out of a galaxy straddling spaceship but that wasn't the impression we got.

Recentley when Asha Bhosle was asked to give her take on reality shows she said, “I never watch any reality shows because I don’t have time and nor am I interested in watching a fake drama! The contestants act and dance more than displaying their singing talent! I don’t like all that. During our days, singers like me, Lata, Rafi, Kishore Kumar actually took efforts to learn Urdu just so that we can get our pronunciations right! Besides even established singers today don’t take any pains to actually understand the lyrics, language … anything! Just wearing a cap and singing is not singing!”
When quizzed if she was referring to Himmesh, the veteran singer said, “I don’t want to talk about this issue again. I guess I have already made my point.”
Himmesh had apologized to Asha Bhosle last year on the sets Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, where both Himmesh and Asha Bhossle were present as judges.

Karan Johar’s brief but illustrious stint as costume designer seems to be over. He won’t be designing or styling Shah Rukh Khan’s costumes for his films. “At least, not this time,” he makes it clear to us from Los Angeles where he’s busy with the pre-production work of his next film. “I’m so taken up with pre-production, I don’t know if I’m coming or going. It’s impossible for me to do Shah Rukh’s clothes for Adi’s film. Now someone else is doing his costumes this time. It was fun while it lasted and I even got awards for doing Shah Rukh’s clothes.” He must be the only director in the world to get awards for doing costumes. “Am I? Well, there you are!” He also poses for magazine covers and makes cameo appearances but the multitasking director is a worried man. He says, “At the moment I’m leaving all that behind and focussing on getting back to making films. I will turn 36 this month. And I’m really depressed about my age. Those who said that the 30s are a swinging extension of the 20s, were obviously lying.”

AMITABH BACHCHAN, the undisputed emperor of the Hindi filmdom, on his blog posted on May 9, 2008, once again initiated the most controversial debate of the tinsel town, albeit indirectly: Who is a greater star? Big B or King Khan? Bachchan even went a step ahead. He used a graphics from Television Audience Measurement (TAM) to drive home his point.
Bachchan writes in his blog, “KBC 1 ran non-stop for almost two years and then, with an adequate break, the two and the three. I am unable to understand its (Panchvi Pass) falling interest as the graphs show despite the fact that they were presented by bigger and more popular star, namely Shahrukh. And now to see ’Panchvi Pass’, or as one rival channel executive sniggered, ‘Panchvi Fail’, after its not too encouraging numbers, facing relative lower ratings is what I wish to debate on and would love to have inputs from readers.”
Why is there a depleted performance despite the presence of the biggest name in the business? A fifth grader will not take even a fraction of second to answer this question. The answer is a rival who has been chasing Bachchan everywhere. And his blog readers spare no time in picking up the cue. Some of them even expressed their displeasure over such comparison approval of such rivalry.
“Shahrukh Khan is the King… but you still are the Emperor,” wrote one reader. “Why do you need to compare yourself with Shahrukh Khan? I just didn’t like this exercise of yours,” wrote another.
Although Bachchan wanted to downplay the incident by writing on the same blog that he was actually collecting feedback from readers on these game shows as the falling TRPs have made him skeptical while zeroing on a particular show of similar genre that are currently on offer.
“I am meeting several TV channel executives, keen for me to do something on TV again. Not knowing the prevalent hits and misses or the reason for their success and failure, I am at a loss as to which one to consider.”
SRK has himself acknowledged that his latest TV quiz show isn’t doing well. Asked if he was the reason, as his Indian Premier League (IPL) team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, was so popular, the star had replied, “If that were true, why would ’Panchvi Pass’ be doing so badly?”

"The University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, will bestow Akshay Kumar with an honorary doctorate on May 9. It's basically for all the social work that he has done in Canada. The University called him up to present him the doctorate," says Akshay's spokesperson.
In the recent past, such kind of honorary doctorates from foreign Universities were given to film personalities like Yash Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Shilpa Shetty.

The Great Khali alias Dalip Singh, called on actor Shah Rukh Khan at his residence "Mannat" on Sunday. The 400-pound power wrestler was at SRK's residence for over two hours this morning.
Sources said it was a private visit. It was earlier reported that King Khan has offered Rs 3 crore to Khali to cheer for his IPL team the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Shahrukh's children Aryan and Suhana are said to be great fans of Khali. They expressed their wish to meet the giant wrestler to their father. And so, SRK invited him to have dinner with his kids at his residence.
The Great Khali has entered Bollywood by signing the film 'Rama'- The Saviour for a whopping Rs 1.5 crore. He is going to play the role of a villain in this film starring Sahil Khan and Tanushree Dutta. He had earlier acted in Hollywood film 'The Longest Yard' in 2005 and another film featuring him "Get Smart" is also ready for release.
Singh, who stands tall at over 7 foot has an extensive background in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Japanese grappling, martial arts - akido and judo -Greco Roman wrestling, western wrestling and the Indian martial art of kalari.
He signed a contract with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2006 and debuted on April 7, 2006 by beating The Undertaker. He is the third in a family of eight children and was once an officer in the Punjab police.
